How to load a utility trailer
Dump runs, moves, yard waste and toys. How to load our 5x10 and 7x14 so nothing shifts or blows out.
Heavy stuff goes in first, up front
Load appliances, furniture and anything heavy against the front wall, low and centered. Lighter stuff like boxes, bags and brush goes behind it. About 60% of the weight should sit in front of the trailer's axle.

Strap it to the trailer, not to itself
Straps don't come with utility trailers, so bring a few ratchet straps. Hook each one to the tie-down points or side rails, run it over the load, and hook the other side. Crank until the load doesn't move when you push on it. Tall items like fridges and dressers get their own strap so they can't tip.

Pack it tight so nothing slides
Gaps let things slide around under braking. Fill space with softer items, stand mattresses against sturdier furniture, and put blankets between anything that can scratch. Use at least two straps on a full load, more if it's piled high.
Tarp anything that can blow out
Yard waste, trash bags, insulation and cardboard will fly out at highway speed. Cover them with a tarp and tie it down every couple of feet so it can't catch air. Nevada law requires loads to be secured so nothing falls or blows off.

No dirt, rock or loose material
Our utility trailers aren't dump trailers. They're built for junk, furniture, yard waste and equipment, not loose dirt, gravel, rock or concrete. Those loads get heavy fast and are a pain to unload by hand.
5x10: up to 2,241 lb
7x14: up to 1,902 lb
No loose dirt, gravel or rock
Pick the right size
The 5x10 is easy to tow behind most SUVs and handles dump runs, dirt bikes and small moves. The 7x14 has more room for side-by-sides, bigger furniture loads and yard clean-ups. Both need a 2" ball and a 4-way flat plug.

FAQs
What people ask us before a dump run or move.
Junk, old furniture, mattresses, bagged trash, yard waste and brush headed to the dump or transfer station. Not loose dirt, gravel or rock. These are open utility trailers, not dump trailers.
Stand it upright against the front wall and strap it to the trailer on both sides so it can't tip. Pad the corners with a blanket so the strap doesn't dent it.
At least two for a full load, plus one for every tall item or anything piled above the side rails. Straps aren't included with utility trailers, so bring your own.
For yard waste, trash, cardboard or anything light, yes. Bring your own tarp and some rope or bungees, and tie it down every couple of feet.
Most SUVs with a 2" hitch can tow either utility trailer. Check your tow rating on the driver's door sticker. Don't have a hitch ball? Add one to your booking for $10.
